The Place

Is it about "The Place"?

is it really about "the place"? or it is just an illusion for us? or a perfect place doesn't exist in the real world. I heard from a lot of people, "it is not about the place, it is about the people". So, it is about people then? what if, it is neither about the place nor the people. No one knows after others think about this everyone thinks differently unless you got your soulmate.

A few days ago while I was reading a book, I came across the topic of people who lived a long life. Misao Okawa, from birth to end she lived in Osaka, a village in japan. Misao lived for 117 years. she almost lived 3 different centuries. she saw every change in Osaka. but Misao was happy and enjoyed her life in Osaka. after reading this I thought, it can be about the place. how can a human life in the same place in 117 years and still be happy? doesn't she get bored of living there? I am not talking about living for 80-90 years, for 117 years. but after all this story and a bunch of questions, my question is still the same "is it about people or the place?"

everyone has their own fantasized place they want to go there, they want to live there, enjoy life. this goes the same for me, I have my own fantasized place I want to go there, do everything I want. but why do we want to go there? because we are not happy right now? no. sometimes we hear good things from our friends about that place we want to go to. how they enjoyed their time, what they did there everything. sometimes we saw it in movies, dramas, pictures, or on social media. and we get excited to visit there, to do the same thing as they did. we want to experience the same thing as the people experienced. It might just we want to escape the place we are in right now. because we might think differently from people around us. this can be the reason to go somewhere, we know or we believe, the place we are going, the peoples thinking will be same as us because we fantasized about that place. it doesn't matter what could be the reason, if we love it, we have the right to do it. give it a try.

fantasy about the perfect place, even in fairytales perfect place doesn't exist. first, we will be excited about visiting the place but after visiting there, our excitement will be gone. why we will be not excit again? after visiting the place we get to experience it there is also sadness and happiness that exists. some people are happy. some people are sad. it can be depressing and toxic. but we have to try, it can be happy for us. the place we fantasized its the same place some people want to leave behind and start fresh somewhere. it is the same as we did. it's the same. isn't it?

just imagine "you just moved to your first "the place" in the apartment, suddenly the sun peaks out behind the clouds and you realized your lifelong dream of living in that place came true". wouldn't you want that? why not? right. even I want it to happen. we are desperate for it to happen. after moving there, I know life will be different. we might change, we have to adjust, there will be many changes but how we overcome them that only matters. we will have a great experience, we will meet new people, we might bond forever with them. it will be an enjoyable journey. unless we do it. it doesn't matter if it's about people or place. do what you think is right. you want to move then move if it will make you happy. but do what makes you happy.

although this is the last blog of 2021. for me 2021 has been a changing year, I fell, but I stood up again without giving up. I got to learn many things, I am still learning. my learning phase will never stop. I still have many things to do. let's start a new story with the new year. who knows what 2022 holds us, but I believe it will be better than 2021. but until then...
